The article, "Maintenance of Lost Weight and Long-Term Management of Obesity," by Dr. Kevin Hall illustrates the lack of sustainable methods used to lose weight i.e. low carb diets, over exercising, being constantly hungry. Eventually this leads to the fact that in "29 long-term weight loss studies, more than half of the lost weight was regained within two years, and by five years more than 80% of lost weight was regained." Clearly, these methods aren't working.

I am a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer who grew up in Montrose, CO. I am attending school online through Kansas State University to obtain my Bachelor's in Nutrition. I strive to become a registered dietician so I can help a broader group of people manage their diets and create the lifestyle they've always hoped for. For fun, I like to weightlift, crochet, and hangout with my 2 beautiful nieces.
